The Bravo Family Foundation and its affiliate, the Bravo Family Charitable Foundation were established by private equity investor Orlando Bravo and his wife Katy.  The Foundation’s philanthropic efforts focus on humanitarian causes, healthcare, early childhood support programs and the education of talented young men and women.  Its largest and most recent project is Podemos (“We Can”) Puerto Rico, a multi-million dollar commitment to support Orlando’s native Puerto Rico recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria.

The two foundations share the same goals and mission, with the Bravo Family Charitable Foundation focusing on grant making to other qualified organizations and the Bravo Family Foundation (an Operating Foundation) focusing on direct philanthropic programs and efforts.
